LEVEL 3 Award - TRAINING ~ PRINCIPLES and PRACTICE (3 day Course)
Develop the skills to plan, deliver and evaluate training sessions that
motivate learners. Learn the use of different assessment methods, and
use appropriate teaching and learning
approaches and styles within a specialist area. Develop techniques and
confidence in training groups and gain a qualification in training.
Assessment Format – Assessment sessions during course and end of the programme.
Candidates – Anyone New to training; Trainers who want to refine their training techniques;
Trainers in the private sector wanting to achieve an accredited qualification.
CIEH Certification awarded to delegates upon successful completion of one assignment
(delivery of a micro-teach session, and observing four others).
LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT (2-day Course)
This programme will enable the delegate to develop the right style to
become an effective and dynamic leadership; Develop the knowledge to
deal with conflict confidently and effectively;
To identify, build and motivate the Team you want.
Candidates – Senior
and Middle Managers; especially those who need to implement change.
EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP WITHOUT BULLYING (2 day course)
Learn and understand the importance of communication; to motivate and
encourage your team effectively, without bullying or harassment, in
order that they perform better and value your
judgement to make them want to do as you ask. Develop interpersonal
skills, and identify your
own leadership styles when interacting with others; learn techniques to
motivate and monitor
performance.
Candidates – Managers at Any level who need to motivate and lead teams effectively.
ILM Level 3 – FIRST LINE MANAGEMENT (4-day Course)
This programme is designed to give practising or aspiring first line
managers a solid foundation in their formal development as a manager.
To enable the learner be more effective and improve
their performance in the organisation. The First Line Management
qualification is for those people who are managing and supervising
people; and designed to develop their knowledge and
skills in key areas of Management, and how to make improvements in the
business.
Assessment Format – 2 small Assignments and 1 work-based Assignment.
Candidates – Practising or Aspiring Managers.
ILM Level 3 Qualification – Optional.
LEVEL 2 INTERMEDIATE CERTIFICATE in Wines and Spirits (5 day Course)
This qualification offers broad coverage of all product categories in
the field of wines and spirits, together with basic wine customer
service and sales functions of the hospitality, retail and wholesale
industries.
Assessment Format - Multiple-choice exam at end of course.
Candidates - Anyone employed in wine sales and service.
LEVEL 3 ADVANCED CERTIFICATE in Wines and Spirits (5 day Course)
Provides a more comprehensive coverage of the wide range of wines and
spirits around the world to equip those in a supervisory capacity with
the authority and confidence to make informed decisions in a wide
variety of trade situations. The qualification has an increased focus
on wine tasting technique.
Assessment Format - Multiple-choice exam, question
paper requiring short written answers and an internally set and assessed
blind tasting of one wine.
Candidates - Those in a supervisory capacity who advise management and customers, and make informed selections of wines and spirits.
Minimum age requirement of delegates for WSET courses is 18 years at time of booking.
