LEVEL 3 Award - HEALTH & SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE (3-day Course)
Supervisors have a legal and moral responsibility to look after the health and safety of employees.
This qualification will enable managers and supervisors to improve the health and safety culture

LEVEL 4 Award - HEALTH & SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE (5-day Course)
Candidate will develop knowledge to Manage Health & Safety - develop auditing and
monitoring programmes, design safe practices and procedures, liaise with enforcement officers
and interpret legal requirements, establish risk assessment projects and qualify to named
"Competent Person", as required by Law.
Assessment Format - Two assignments and a written examination.

LEVEL 2 Award - FOOD SAFETY IN CATERING (1 day Course)
The Course addresses Food Safety awareness, needs and best practice of individual sectors of
food in catering establishments. Reduction in levels of food poisoning cases will only be
achieved by the education of food handlers.

LEVEL 3 Award - FOOD SAFETY IN CATERING (3 day Course)
Training will enable candidate to carry out hygiene audits and assist in hazard analysis

instructions etc., be involved in training, especially one-to-one or on the job training.

LEVEL 4 Award - FOOD SAFETY IN CATERING (5 day Course)
Candidate will develop knowledge to guide and advise management of food hygiene in food

plan.

Introduction to the concept of HACCP, to develop understanding of and the ability to apply

PRINCIPLES OF MANUAL HANDLING (1/2 day Course)

LEVEL 2 Award - EMERGENCY FIRST AID at Work (EFAW) (1 day Course)
First Aid is the responsibility of Everyone involved in the working
environment. This course provides delegates with the required knowledge and
understanding of the basic principles to be carried out in the event of an accident in the
workplace, and to provide adequate emergency first aid cover, in accordance with the
Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations.

FIRST AID at WORK (FAW) (3 day Course)
The training programme includes all the features of EFAW and also equips delegates with the
first aid to tend a range of specific injuries and illnesses. It is aimed at the appointed person to be
a First Aider, in a working environment with a high number of employees.

direct liaison with the Fire Precautions Manager within the company.
The course will incorporate all relevant fire safety laws applicable in
Gibraltar, including Fire Safety risk assessments.
